Jaden Smith drops a Dragon Ball Z inspired single "Goku"

Jaden Smith is prepping for the release of his next project The Sunset Tapes: A Cool Tape Story which drops on the 17th of November. After the success of his debut album SYRE Jaden Smith established himself as a rapper in his own right stepping out of the shadow of his famous father Will Smith. Jaden is definitely a fan of Japanese culture which is evident in his sense of style and the music video for his single Ghost which was shot in Japan. Goku is named after iconic anime character Goku from world famous anime series Dragon Ball Z.

Goku is an innovative hip hop track that has a strong Dubstep influenced Backing track produced by Omar Rambert & Lexoskeleton. Jaden delivers his own version of swag rap a smooth rapid fire lyrical flow matched with cool witty wordplay.

“I know that once it goes out, it’s gonna be out forever—and that’s a good thing, because I really want people to be able to connect with it, and look back on it, and talk about it,” he said. “I’m doing it all for the youth, so I have to let it go.”
