Creative genius Pharrell Williams drops an anime inspired lookbook for his collaborative collection with iconic french house Chanel. This collection is a landmark moment in the history of Chanel as it is the first time that Chanel has done a capsule collection. The collection fuses streetwear fashion culture with high-end haute couture influences. Consisting of staple streetwear silhouettes hoodies, jumpers, t-shirts and sneakers combined with high-end luxury accessories. The collection has a vibrant colourful aesthetic which gives the collection a playful energy.

Snobette Provided an exclusive behind the scenes look at the making of a lookbook and fashion film for the Chanel X Pharrell capsule collection. The campaign was inspired by Japanese anime specifically Katsuhiro Otomo’s seminal cult classic anime film Akira. Pharrell has admitted to being a self-confessed Japanophile so it is no surprise that he would incorporate amine culture as part of his collaboration with Chanel.
