Ralph Lauren and Palace Skates combine on iconic collab collection
Palace and Ralph Lauren seems like an odd couple at first glance iconic american high end fashion meets trendy skate inspired streetwear. The collection has a vintage 90’s feel reminiscent of Ralph Lauren’s classic collections from the 1990’s. This collaboration cements Palace’s as a staple brand and marks a key point in the brands evolution.
The collection features cosy loose fitting silhouettes in quality durable materials. Vibrant colour blocking plaid designs and embroidery give the collection a timeless nostalgic look. Consisting of trousers, shirts, coats , jackets, caps, loafers and a teddy bear. The lookbook was shot by David Sims in a beautiful desert setting with wonderful open spaces and beautiful vistas. David Sims referenced american cowboy culture cleverly reinterpreting Ralph Lauren’s classic iconic horse rider logo.
